TheraPAD
The QuantRx miniform has been patented for administering an agent (for example delivering a drug or diagnostic agent) intravaginally via the interlabial space or for delivering a therapeutic agent via the anus. The miniform, or pad, is retained between the labia or buttocks for a sufficient period of time to deliver an active agent, or allow a reaction with a diagnostic agent.
Alternatively, the pad is placed after medication, such as a suppository, is administered, to help reduce discomfort or loss of medication to the patient.
The miniform is small, safe, and biodegradable. The miniform was proven to be far more acceptable than using a larger napkin or towel, and eliminates the feeling of “messiness” cited by many patients.
inSync
The inSync miniform provides a protection option for those suffering from urinary stress incontinence, a condition which afflicts one out of five women over age 40, or approximately 23 million in the U.S. A tampon cannot be used for stress incontinence and external pads can be bulky and uncomfortable for everyday use. The Company believes that the miniform will be an excellent alternative, since it is comfortable as well as absorbent.
The Company's patented miniform offers an innovative alternative and complement to existing feminine protection products. The inSync miniform is the first generation of a technology that creates an entirely new category within the $7 billion global feminine protection market. Unlike existing pads, with Unique there are no adhesives and unlike tampons, no insertion is necessary.

The miniform is worn lengthwise between the labia where the body naturally and comfortably holds it in place. The inSync miniform is small enough to fit in the palm of a woman’s hand and it provides excellent protection for light incontinence. In addition, the inSync miniform may be used as protection for vaginal discharge and mid-cycle spotting and to give a general feeling of freshness.
QuantRx believes that the unique design of the inSync miniform provides several distinct benefits over currently available forms of feminine incontinence protection while addressing the patient's concerns of comfort, convenience, and safety.
Comfort. The inSync miniform provides exceptional comfort because of its unique placement and small size which, unlike bulky pads, allows it to fit and move with a woman's body.
Convenience. Because of its small size, the inSync miniform can be carried in a pocket, wallet, or palm of a woman's hand. The inSync miniform is naturally expelled when a woman urinates and, therefore, the user does not need to handle a soiled product or be concerned about disposal. The inSync miniform is flushable and 90 percent biodegradable.
Safety. The inSync miniform is worn externally and poses no more risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome ("TSS") than other external pads and less risk of TSS than a tampon. |
